We are fully insured and Coast Guard approved vessel licensed to take up to six passengers. We supply all the gear and bait needed, but you are more than welcome to bring your own if you would like.
We operate out of Shelter Cove, on northern California's lost coast. The lost coast is the longest, roadless stretch of coast line in the continental U.S. This leads to some of the most untouched plentiful waters the country has to offer.
Captain Jake Mitchell is a third generation Shelter Cove fisherman and has been on the ocean since he was 5 years old. Salmon- TBD
Halibut- May 1st - November 15th or until quota has been met
Rockfish & Lingcod- May 1st through September 30th and November shallower than 120 ft.
April, October, December deeper than 300 ft
Albacore- June through October
Crab- November 2nd through July 30th
Rockfish: $230 per person (up to 5hrs)
Salmon: $230 per person (up to 5hrs)
Combo: $275 per person (up to 8hrs)
Albacore: $425 per person (up to 10hrs)
Crab: $50 added to any trip
-there is a 4 person minimum on all trips. This means I will not go out unless we have a total of 4 people. If there is only 4 people in your group, I
all prices include filleting of your catch & ice
